JOB OVERVIEW:
A global brokerage and banking institution is looking to expand its
investment in its use of MQ Series as a global middleware solution. The
teams focus is to identify a Middleware Administrator who will be
responsible for MQ Series (groups queue managers and managing queues, MQ
Series security), CFT and Websphere Application Server (WAS). Candidates IBM
WebSphere MQ - must be Expert level - including MQ clustering.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The opportunity requires an MQ Administrator who will be responsible for
Monitoring and Problem resolution for the middleware integration
environment. Install, configure and deployment of Websphere MQ and MQ
Software Products.  Will Install and configure MQ Series queue managers,
queues, channels, clients on NT and UNIX platforms. Will support medium MQ
Series environment (80 + servers) and numerous clients. Provide technical
support on CFT and FTP for Banking Applications. As a Senior Middleware
Engineer, must demonstrate expert IBM MQ walking in the door, including MQ
clusters. Responsibilities will include variety of MQ projects, File
Transfer – (will teach), IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is a plus -
will teach.
