IT jobs in Pune: Web Content writer / Technical Writing

Hi,

Smartsourcing Global is seeking a content writer to generate variety of content including marketing collateral, technical blogs, white papers, online instructional copy (UI), screen content (UI), demos, tutorials, and help. Writer should have 3+ years of experience writing and editing content for a variety of service-based companies and for software solutions. The ideal candidate has experience writing and collaborating on content with diverse groups in a fast-paced environment and is extremely comfortable working online.
Required: Writing samples must be included with the resume.

Responsibilities

* Write and edit accurate, concise, and highly readable page content for new and existing web applications that is not overly technical or obscure.
* Generate writing that include but are not limited to Help, FAQs, instructional screen copy, interactive tutorials scripts, demos, error messages, and other website content.
* Evaluate the scope of a writing project and be responsible for managing own priorities, schedule and deadlines.
* Quick and accurate, multi-tasker.

Required Qualifications

* 3+ years writing for the web, white papers and marketing materials
* Degree in English or Journalism, or Technical Writing certification

* Strong advocate for the end user's web experience
* Understand interactive writing, online constraints and effective communication on and for the web
* Excellent writing, editing, analytical, and proofreading skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team and collaborate with all levels in the organization
* Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear non-technical content
* Extremely organized and detail-oriented
* A self-starter who can work independently
* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
