Requirements:

Candidate must have degree in Law.

should have min.4 year experience in corporate legal requirements.

Excellent communication skill. Fluent in English are required.

Selected candidates will be appointed as Legal Executive at Chennai Regional office

CTC offered will be around 6 to 7 lakhs. Candidates can expect excellent career growth in short period will be promoted to Asst. manager level

Corporate Intellectual Property Rights,

Legal action against infringement on Trade Mark and copy rights and other related laws,

Legal metrology issues,

Food safety Laws

Labor Laws,

Money Recovery,

Property Issues,

Tax cases,

Criminal Cases,

Civil cases,

Arbitration,

Meeting with consumers and sorting out of consumer complaints,

Consumer Cases,

Laisoning with lawyers,

Vetting and drafting of Contracts and legal drafting,

Laisoning with public Authorities such as Legal Metrology, Labor officers, Police etc.,

Legal scrutiny of documents etc`

Contracts negotiation



Responsibilities

Job Profile
• Responsible for Drafting of Complaints, Pleadings, Revisions, Appeals and Writ Petitions, Agreements including Lease Deeds, License Deeds, MOUs, Conveyance deeds, Power of Attorneys, Distributorship Agreement etc.

• Responsible for replying to the Food Authorities, getting the nominations filed and acknowledged 482 Petitions and Writ Petitions in PFA Cases.
• Responsible for Compliance's under various statutory Provisions as Weight & Measures Act, MRTP Act, Labour Laws & Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, etc.
• Profile includes IPR protection which includes, identifying the manufacturing and sale of spurious products, conducting raids for the same and litigation under Trade Marks and Copyrights Act.
• Profile Includes support to the business in educating the field force, appointment of Re-distributors, daily queries from factories and business.
• Handling the High Stake criminal matters of the company, as well s other recovery cases. Regular Liaisoning with the cheque defaulters and opposite parties to settle the cases. Profile also includes providing the support to the Consumer Cell of the Unilever Group across South India and also contesting the cases at different forums and Commissions
