Role: Sr. Peoplesoft DBA

Location: Belmont, CA

Duration: 10 months 

Interview: F2F, after the initial phone interview

  

Job description:

  • 8-9 years experience within the IT industry  
  • 5-6 years PeopleSoft experience.
  • Excellent experience with PeopleTools, including upgrades, installation, configuration, integration & LDAP.
  • Excellent and through understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture/ PeopleSoft 8.X
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft data management tools
  • Excellent working knowledge of relational databases
  • Ability to read, write and manipulate SQL
  • Ability to trace all types of PeopleSoft code, including COBOL, SQR, Application Engine.
  • Excellent Working knowledge of network topology's and protocols, especially TCP/ IP
  • Excellent Working knowledge of hardware platforms and system security
  • Working knowledge of hosting environment / SaaS.  
  • Working knowledge of DMZ and firewall technologies
  • Excellent Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Linux / Unix.
  • Working knowledge of hardware and network architecture
  • Understanding and working knowledge of DHCP, DNS and WINS
  • Understanding and working knowledge of ERP and Dataware house systems.
