Responsibilities

  • Over view of the role: Ensure the rapid scale up in the capabilities of the front end team. Ensure that the field leaders are completely equipped with the skills needed to excel at their job
  • Main Job Purpose: Training Delivery, Sales Team Engagement, Drive productivity
  • Key Accountabilities -
  • Manning of Sales team (PureIt Water Experts / Group Leader / Team Leader)
  • Capability Building of Sales team
  • Implement rewards and recognition platforms at the Area level
  • Enrollment in National recognition programs
  • Improving employee engagement level of sales team by implementation of central initiatives & by building initiatives at local level

Requirements

  • Experience Required: Minimum 6 years of Sales experience
  • Preferred Language: south Indian languages
  • Preferred Industry: Banking / Insurance
  • Travel: Within allotted territory & zones

Scope

HR PROCESS AND TEAM MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, coordinate and monitor the entire aspects of HR functions in the territory. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities i.e., Recruitment, Joining, HR Induction, Training and Development and Performance Management. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Human Resource Head.
  • Originate and lead Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity standards, goal attainment and ongoing development of superior workforce. Carry out various periodical surveys related to employees such as Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Prepare hiring documents for new employees and conduct new hire orientations. Conduct exit interviews for separating employees and prepare all separation documents.
  • Maintain all employment documents and revisions into the HRIS for pay rolling and temping employees. Maintain employee leave records and personnel files.
  • Maintain various benefits related forms and disseminate information, as needed, regarding updates, changes, etc. Forward completed forms to the appropriate person.
  • Prepare documents for merit increases, reclassifications, promotions, and special salary adjustments. Schedule and administer examinations of qualified applicants as needed.
  • Recommend appropriate procedures for handling disciplinary actions and separations.


RECRUITMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for manpower forecasting and also to reinforce recruitment to ensure budgeted manpower exist across Region
  • Coordinate with 3rd party and local sourcing agencies to get desired manpower as required by the organization.
  • Responsible for driving referral schemes through existing employees in the system.
  • Evaluate applications to determine if applicants meet the established minimum qualifications, skills and experience.
  • Managing pipeline of short listed candidates so that the hiring of those persons can happen as and when required.



TRAINING AND CAPABILITY BUILDING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize and direct a wide range of training activities and design training materials for direct sales executives. Help all employees maintain and improve their job skills, and possibly prepare for jobs requiring greater skill. Also, help supervisors improve their interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with employees. Frequently set up individualized training plans to strengthen an employee's existing skills or teach new ones.
  • Discover and enhance the participant's strengths and talents. Improve the participants skills and equip them with added effective skill sets such as professional communication, active listening, clarity of thought, creativity, building rapport, understanding customers needs.
  • Ensure classroom training and field induction training to be imparted on selling skills, product demonstration followed by training on personality development, communication skills and customer service to the new associates in the company.
  • Evaluating and measure performance improvement chart of the employees after training and also suggest the employees for performance improvement program, if found not up to the mark.
  • Supervisor Training is mandated to provide training to the new associates in the system. Later, being evaluated to ensure that the trainees meet all the requirements to work in the field.
  • Certification done for all the supervisors i.e. Territory Sales Officers, Team Leaders, Group Leaders and direct sales associates. As per norms only certified people are allowed to work in the field.
  • Conduct “Performance Improvement Program” for those associates who have earlier failed in the certification but qualify to appear for recertification.
