One of our client from Education industry has a senior level opening for Vice President – Sales and Marketing (Test Preparation) in Delhi. Details are as under.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Location: New Delhi - Delhi
Primary Purpose: Business progression of the core business of the company in a time bound manner thus creating value for all the stake holders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maximizing share holder value by effectively managing business progression and service delivery operations for Test preparation division as well as coordinating with the admissions counseling division for linked elements.
- Business progression planning encompassing, studying market trends, customer feedback, product development, media planning, capacity expansion and operational cost control for the entire test preparation division.
- Ensure implementation of business progression plan in by effective coordination with all stake holders.
- Ensure operational effectiveness by coordinating with service delivery teams and other support functions.
- Ensure higher retention of employees in the test preparation division and ensure employee growth within the divisional teams. Career mapping and succession planning.
- Manpower budgeting and ensuring manpower availability so as to deliver on the business progression plan as per the agreed time-lines.
- Build “The Princeton Review” as a best known brand with in the assigned territory in the study abroad domain creating effective brand recall and customer value linked with the brand.
Work Relations:
- Reporting to Board of Directors for all business progression and service delivery issues for the test preparation division.
- Interfacing with Academic Head for service delivery issues.
- Interfacing with Zonal Heads as reporting Manager for all Business progression and sales operations. (ZH – Reports to V.P – Test Preparation)
- Interfacing with HRD for Manpower budgeting and talent acquisition.
- Interfacing with Head Office accounts for sales receipts and other accounting issues.
- Interfacing with Admission counseling service staff for sales and operations of services linked with test preparation services.
- Interfacing with Marketing Manger as reporting manager for all brand building, customer value issues. (Marketing Manager Reports to V.P – Test Preparation)
- Interfacing with Manager – Intuitional sales as reporting manager for Business progression issues. (Manager – Institutional Sales Reports to V.P – Test Preparation)
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in Retail sales in a B to C environment. Profiles with education industry background will be given preference.
- Minimum Five year of experience in handling large sales and marketing teams.
- Maximum consolidated experience should not be more than 20 years.
Skills:
- Excellent Communications skills.
- Excellent ability to consolidate and analyze data and formulate strategies to achieve business growth.
- Good Leadership skills.
- Good Knowledge of Business Processes in terms of Retail Sales and B to C interface.
- Willing to travel.
- Ability to deliver under stretched timelines is mandatory.
Working Hours:
- All cities are working on weekends. Incumbent will get 6 offs in a months on any day from Tuesday to Friday wherein moth more than two days can be taken as off consecutively.
- Ability to deliver under stretched timelines is mandatory.
Qualification:
- Post Graduates with MBA in sales and Marketing will be preferred
Salary: Rs 12,00,000 - Rs 20,00,000
- Willingness to Travel: Occasionally
