One of our client who is a leader in GPS technology, has an opening for SERVER TEST ENGINEER / LEAD in NOIDA. Details are as under.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for bright engineering professional to be a key member of the engineering team for the next generation of end-to-end wireless location solutions for company’s product which will help speed up the wireless location consumption and is the key foundation for the rapid adoption of mobile location-based services (LBS).
This position is for software testing of LBS server solutions. Job involves solid individual contribution in an agile product development environment. Involves Test planning and execution to ensure that software and system deliveries are of high quality. The Job involves performing alpha and beta tests. The job involves problem analysis and high level zeroing down to problem area. Involves interfacing with development team and program management.

Location: Noida


Requirements:
As a key member of the location platform team, you must have minimum 4 years of relevant working experience. The successful candidate must have the following skill sets:

1. Should have experience in testing one of more core network wireless servers - GMLC , BSC, MSC, SGSN, GGSN
2. Should have command on Unix and scripting languages
3. Should have experience in white box testing of wireless protocol stack and call processing modules
4. Experience in configuring and testing software modules in multi-thread OS environment
5. Experience in planning, configuring & testing servers which are high performance, Fault Tolerant (Five 9s) and scalable.
6. Should have experience in C++ and Java based server white Box Testing
7. Should have experience in operational maintenance and testing of pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless network servers
8. Should have experience in test planning, test case development and execution.
9. Should have used unit test frameworks and code coverage tools
10. Should have an understanding of engineering processes - understand the criticality of test - in software development lifecycle
11. Should have worked on integrated environments and have a systems perspective
12. Should be flexible to pick up any new tool for automation and also explore tools for test
13. Should have test experience in Web Services, SOAP, Parlay, ParlayX standards.
14. Should have test exposure to Java Application servers, for e.g. IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic etc.
15. Exposure to Cluster computing environment is desirable.
16. Experience in LBS, AGPS, hybrid location technology (cell id, wi-fi, rssi, rfid etc) is desirable
17. Experience of working in agile environment is desirable


Experience: 4+ to 7 years

Qualification:
BE / B Tech/ MCA or Masters with Computer Science and Engineering. M.Tech/PhD will be preferred.

Basic Salary: Rs 6,00,000 - Rs 9,00,000
